Sustainability
CENTREPIECE achieved LEED (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) Gold Certification in 2021. LEED-certified buildings are independently verified as being resource and energy-efficient, and help contribute to cleaner, greener, healthier cities.
Located in a rare corridor of green space in the urban environment, this remarkable new venue features 370 solar panels, rainwater harvesting capabilities and water-efficient fittings throughout. Energy-efficient lighting and double-glazed windows help further reduce its carbon footprint.

Getting Here
CENTREPIECE features multiple public access points, and can be accessed on foot, by car, coach and tram.
Train: The following train stations are within walking distance to CENTREPIECE:
- 7 minutes from Jolimont Station
- 10 minutes from Flinders Street Stations
- 10 minutes from Richmond Station
Tram: The following tram routes are within walking distance to CENTREPIECE
- Route 70, stop 7B Rod Laver Arena

Taxi and Rideshare: The Rod Laver Arena Taxi Rank is located next to The Oval on Olympic Boulevard, just 200m from CENTREPIECE. The CENTREPIECE car park also has a dedicated drop-off area for cars, coaches and rideshares.
Parking
Ample parking is available at CENTREPIECE’s dedicated secure car parks via Entrance A (batman Avenue) and Entrance D (Olympic Boulevard).

Accessibility: The venue aims to be as accessible friendly as possible. All function rooms and facilities have lift, ramps and wheelchair access and there is a dedicated accessible restrooms, including a ‘Changing Places’ facility.
